Originally from Houston, Omar earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Arizona. He later attended law school at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., while clerking at the Securities and Exchange Commission and working in the legal department for the City of Houston. Omar began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in both Midland and Fort Bend County. Omar is licensed to practice in Texas and is a proud member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. He also serves on the boards of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and the Houston-Karachi Sister City Association.
